Former
player and lifelong supporter of the Pirates, Dick Payne, aged 78, has passed
away. Always enthusiastic as a player, Dick played over 100 games for the club,
as did his late brother Ralph, several other members of the family have also worn
the Pirates colours.
The
Pirates Youth rugby section held its first ever Registration Day last Sunday.Pirates
new fly-half Doug Sanft and Iva Motusaga assisted the U13 with a skills session,
and Matt Evans kindly gave time to to the youngest Pirates.
